How Can I Request a Copy of My Personal Data

Data Access & DeletionRevision: 2026-06-26Language: EN

You can request a copy of all personal data ONEKYC holds about you — learn how to submit a data access request.

Under applicable data protection law, including the GDPR, you have the right to obtain a copy of the personal data held about you. This is known as a Subject Access Request (SAR) or Data Access Request. You can submit a SAR to the business that requested your verification, to ONEKYC, or to both.

01

What data you can request

The personal data you submitted during the verification flow (name, date of birth, address, etc.).
The verification result and the date it was recorded.
Any data stored as part of your ONEKYC ID profile.
Records of which businesses have accessed your ONEKYC ID data and when.
Any screening results or AML checks conducted on your profile.
02

How to submit a request to ONEKYC

Email legal@onekyc.io with the subject line 'Data Access Request'. Include your full name, the email address associated with your verification, and the name of the business that requested your verification. We may ask you to verify your identity before providing the data, to ensure we send it to the right person.

We will provide the requested data within 30 days, in line with applicable data protection law.
The data will be delivered in a portable, machine-readable format where possible.
There is no charge for a data access request unless it is manifestly unfounded or excessive.

If you want a copy of the data held by the business that requested your verification, you will need to contact that business directly. They are the primary data controller for your verification record and are independently responsible for responding to SARs.
