When your verification status shows 'under review', it means your submission has been flagged for manual assessment by a compliance specialist. This is a normal part of the process and does not automatically mean your verification will be declined.
Why a verification goes under review
What to expect
You do not need to take any action while your verification is under review unless the business specifically asks you to. Review times vary depending on the complexity of the check and the business's configured review workflow, but most reviews are completed quickly, though some may take longer depending on the checks involved.
Once the review is complete, the business will notify you of the outcome through the channel they use to communicate with you. If your verification has been under review for more than three business days without an update, contact the business directly to ask for a status update.
